Application Methods

Base Mat

PVC foam with impregnated knitted polyester fabric is rolled out and seamed together on site. The mat is loose laid over the surface, and seamed at the perimeter of the installation. The weight and thickness of the mat (see details below) with acrylic colour, is sufficient to ensure non-movement of the surface.

Playing Surface

Three layers of the aggregated acrylic colour are applied in concurrent layers, applied using a flexible rubber squeegee. Each layer is fully pigmented to ensure colour enrichment throughout the surface. On site mix designs (water and sand) for the acrylic colour can be found in the acrylic colour section within the Technical Information option on the website.

Appropriate playing lines of acrylic paint are applied using a brush or roller when the final acrylic colour coat is sufficiently cured.
