Centrecourt pro Cushoning System,
Product Specifications

Description and Usage

This is a cushioned subsurface for use with the Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Colour. Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Cushion is applied to the sub-base prior to the application of the Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Colour System. Formulated from a combination of acrylic latex emulsions and specially graded rubber granules, Centrecourt Pro Cushion adds a shock absorbing quality for greater player comfort and maximum player endurance.

Mix Design

Mix thoroughly to insure uniform consistency.

Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Cushion 208.17 litres
Potable Water 90.8 –113.5 litres

Application

Refer to the Court Surface For maximum performance and economy be sure that both levelling and pitch of the surface are as precise as possible and the surface density is tight. On new surfaces it may be necessary to apply a coat of Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Resurfacer in order to obtain a tight surface density.

Centrecourt Pro Cushion is applied by use of a 60-120 cm long, flexible, 50 to 70 Durometer, rubber squeegee of good quality and in good condition. Care should be taken to prevent the formation of ridges between passes of the squeegee. Such ridges would require extensive corrective action prior to the application of the colour finish. Multiple applications are required to build up the desired thickness. Each coat is recommended to be applied in a perpendicular direction to the preceding coat.

Drying Time

2-4 hours under optimum conditions. Humidity, surface temperature and ambient temperature will affect drying process.

Coverage

Refer to the Centrecourt Pro Cushion Systems for coverage rate. It is recommended that Centrecourt Pro Cushion generally be installed in 5 applications (ProCushion 5).

Limitations and Precautions

Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Cushion should not be applied when ambient temperature is below 10°C (500F) or when the surface temperature is above 60°C (1400F). Do not apply when rain is imminent. If cushion has cured and becomes wet after rainfall, allow 48 hours drying time (Sunny 20°C (700F) or above) before any additional coatings are applied. Keep from freezing. Do not store in direct sunlight.
