Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Colour System
is a fade resistant, 100% acrylic coating, which provides
a tough, durable surface aggregated to desired levels,
and also to ITF requirements. Each of the three layers
applied as the final part of the process are fully
pigmented and colour rich, leaving you with a cushioned,
very durable and professional performing surface.
Mix
Design
The Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Colour
is mixed at the project site with clean dry 80 –
100 mesh silica sand and portable water to obtain
the consistency desired for texture, aesthetics and
performance. The material must be thoroughly mixed
to insure a uniform consistency. The table below gives
the amounts of water and silica sand, which may be
added to the Centrecourt Pro Acrylics Acrylic Colour.

to humidity, ambient temperatures and surface porosity.
Application
Method
The Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Colour
System is applied in three separate applications and
is accomplished by use of a 60 cm to 120 cm long, flexible,
50 to 70 durometer, rubber squeegees of good quality
and in good condition. The first two coats are filler
coats. The first coat will be applied in a perpendicular
direction to the playing net. The second coat and
finish coat will be applied parallel with the playing
net. Each application must thoroughly dehydrate before
application of succeeding coat.
Coverage
Coverage will depend upon the porosity
of the surface to which the Centrecourt Pro Acrylic
Colour System is applied.

Drying
Time
30 – 90 minutes under
optimum conditions. Humidity, surface temperature
and ambient temperature will affect the drying process.
Limitations
and precautions
Centrecourt Pro Acrylic Colour should
not be applied when ambient temperature is below 100C
(500F) or when the surface temperature is above 600C
(1400F). Do not apply when rain is imminent. Do not
store in direct sunlight. Keep from freezing. Centrecourt
Pro Acrylic Colour should be allowed to cure for 24
hours before courts are opened for use.
